Hi, My name is Kat James. My passion for animals is in my everyday life.
I started volunteering at the local no kill animal shelter in 1991 and have never stopped working with animals. Since then I went on to work at the same shelter. Where my duties involved evaluating every dog that came through the doors to make sure that they did not have any aggression or behavioral issues. If they did I would work on the issues that the dog had. Many of the people that surrender the dogs was due to not being able to train them properly. I have always said there is no such thing as a bad dog. They are misunderstood.
In 2000 I moved to California and did an internship at Farm Sanctuary for 3 months. From there I went to work at Paradise Ranch in Sun Valley, Ca. I trained dogs for several years. While I lived in California I became pet first aid certified and I received my certificate from the ABKA. This teaches the basic principles of animal care, office procedures and customer relations. I have been a vegetarian for over 15 years now.
I cater to you and your pets needs and wants. No request is to small or to big.
I love what I do and hope I will be a great assest to you and your pets life!
My Certifications are: Pet First Aid Certified. ABKA Pet Care Technician Program. Animal Sanctuary Workshop. Completion of Internship at Farm Sanctuary. ITC dog training workshop: November, 2011.
